About Jennifer Berry Landscape Architect
Experience and Expertise
I am a partly-retired working landscape architect and a Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI).
Over the last five years I have worked for a small and prestigious design studio, developing and creating designs for commercial office buildings, university residence halls, urban public realm, and urban roof top gardens/green roofs,
with occasional work at single residences. I have experience and a strong background in design development, technical and aesthetic aspects of soft landscape design, creation of illustrative and technical drawings, specifications and management plans.
I have managed a small team of 3 junior staff, and together we produce planning submission packages, tender and construction packages, with our principal as creative lead.
In my previous employment I produced landscape and visual impact assessments (LVIA), a skill which I honed over five years at a large multi-disciplinary consultancy, Pegasus Group.
Prior to that I ran my own garden design practice, gaining extensive knowledge and a love of plants and plant communities. Overall I have over 20 years in the landscape industry.
I am proficient in Autocad, Vectorworks and Adobe Suite.

I work on a part-time basis, generally providing temporary help to other busy landscape architects who are short of resource. It is best to book my time ahead as my schedule fills quickly.
I enjoy and am captivated by landscape at its full range, from the small-scale details of hard landscape materials and plant interactions, to the wide context of regional landscape planning. My objective is to continue to develop and design landscape spaces to a high professional standard, and to contribute positively to the built and natural environment through creative, sustainable design and collaborative projects.
